What's stopping you from achieving your dreams?

This video brings into mind my post "The Pursuit of Happiness in Singapore"- what is the price we pay for not achieving what we really want versus the price we pay to achieve our dreams. Is any price is too high to pay in order to achieve one's dreams??

The kiwi knew that it wasn't his lot to fly, so he improvised by climbing up a cliff and nailing down trees perpendicular to the cliff face. When his labors were over, he climbed up, put on a pilot cap and jumped off. I really liked the video because it captured the intense feeling of bliss and happiness in achieving one's dream of flying in the clouds.

Even if it required years of hard labour hauling trees up onto the cliff and nailing them down, the possibility of falling to his death and the fact that he had only ONE chance of experiencing flying with the wind in his face, it was clear that it was a price worth paying for every single second of bliss.

So what’s stopping us from achieving our dreams? Culture? Fear of taking risks? Maybe it’s a combination of factors. What is YOUR reason for not achieving your dreams?
